June 2022 | Roche Canada, an important partner in the Quebec SmartCare Consortium project, has written a blog post about Opal and their participation in the project. The post is entitled “Opal - A gem in the rough - How a diverse group of partners is aiming to change healthcare”.
March 2021 | The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation announces major support for the deployment of Opal at the Children’s start in the Nephrology Department. Using Opal, parents will be able to access the medical data of their children and learn about their condition and care.
November 2019 | The Opal team was awarded the Trottier-Webster award for innovation at Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre for their project to build blockchain data donation into Opal.
